target of 50mg/kg two years early, reducing antibiotic
sales to farmers by 27% (the lowest since records
began), and with critically important antibiotics also
reduced (Colistin by a huge 83%), we are on the right
road. Gwyn Jones, Fellow of the Royal Agricultural
Society of England, discusses the great importance of
reducing the use of antibiotics in animal care.
